Microseis.net is the new online news, information and training portal focussing on the rapidly developing technology of microseismic reservoir monitoring.

It will meet the growing requirement for independent and up-to-date information on microseismic R&D, hardware and software, service provision, intellectual property, training and field applications.

Microseis.net will be online in December 2005 and it will be a subscription service. It will be independent of service providers, operators and research organisations.

The Microseis.net development team is led by Dr Andy Jupe who has;

• ~15 years experience in planning and executing commercial microseismic projects worldwide
• led major microseismic R&D projects in borehole seismic hardware, gas production monitoring, waterflood and CRI (cuttings re-injection) pilot studies and integration of microseismics into dynamic reservoir models
• specialist expertise in the integration of microseismics with dynamic reservoir models and geomechanical behaviour
• expertise in communicating the new technology concepts and work processes to clients within the international oil and gas industry
